Likes it - It's one of our favorite places for breakfast, especially for the johnnycakes. I don't know quite why it should seem almost thrilling to be able to make toast at a booth table, but it is. Friendly staff.

We went there today for New Year's Day brunch. We got there at around 1:30pm and happily discovered that they although they weren't serving from the full breakfast menu, they still serve from their limited breakfast menu all day. This was perfect since I wanted breakfast food and my parents and husband wanted lunch. All the food was really good and the service was excellent. My parents are vegetarian and didn't see anything on the menu they really liked, so they asked the waitress if she could make a special sandwich for them with the veggies and cheese they wanted. She gladly did it and my parents said the sandwich was great! It even came with french fries. I had the sourdough french toast and my husband had the grilled pepper and goat cheese sandwich. We also ordered the sweet potato fries...everything was really good! My 1 year old son went and had food from the kids menu. The atmosphere is very cozy and both main seating areas have fireplaces that were going. Ample parking too...they have a lot. We were very happy with the place and will definitely go back. Bonus: there is a pinkberry two stores down.

Pros: Affordable pricing, good food, good ambience, kid-friendly, great service, parking
Cons: None

My 1st review..Yay!! Here it goes. What a great restaurant this is. I recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere is great. My bf and I came here for dinner and the entire place is warm and cozy with all their fireplaces lit. It was like walking into my beloved's family home. The service is great. We're greeted by friendly hostess and served by great waitresses who served us well. The food is excellent.

I normally don't really care much for American food, but Dish is the absolute exception. Their mushroom soup is hearty and comforting. Their BBQ Chicken Quesadilla was pretty tasty. Just imagine cubed BBQ Chicken married with sweet glazed sauteed/grilled onions and melted cheese all blanketed by soft thin tortilla wrap. We also ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, but it wasn't as great; just so-so. The sweet potato french fries were soooo yummy though! We've come here for breakfast several times too and their Dish Eggs Benedict is to die for..Sweet Heaven. The thinly sliced ham is soft and not too salty. The egg is done perfectly, placed on top of the ham with the warm delightful biscuit on the bottom and graciously topped by a generous amount of buttery, delicious hollandaise sauce. If there had been no other customers around, I would have licked my plate clean, no doubt! Their house coffee is the best coffee I've had at any sit-down restaurant! I'm just an occasional coffee drinker, but at Dish, I am hooked on their coffee and have drank as much as 3 refills in one sitting! If you don't like coffee, they also have a variety of juices. I recommend the "POG" (Passionfruit, Orange and Guava) juice. I'm getting hungry just writing about it!

Title: VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE May 2007

Review: This was our first visit to this restaurant. Our party of 10 arrived for lunch with reservations on Saturday May 12, and we were seated quickly. The service was very attentive and polite, all you hope for in service. The menu was interesting and we all enjoyed our food. One meal arrived 5 minutes after the rest of the party was served, but at least it arrived with an apology. I can't wait to go back.
